A question for the camper brigade

I saw a kombi camper at a wreckers yesterday.
Though I'm not into campers it seems a shame to see it rot.

What brand is the camper with the roof being a flip top from left to right?

camper

Hi Spook
The camper you saw is most probably a Dormobile, an english conversion sold under licence by a couple of dealers, I am not positive but I think one of them was Lannock motors, they also used to sell a high top version of the VW camper, I have seen some of these still running around.
Most Dormobile's had two windows in the fibreglass roof.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for that brother.
As it stands I found one on "The Samba" not 5 minutes after reading your reply.

It's a dormobile alright. I thought they only did Bedfords.

I'll go & see how reasonable this guy is tomorrow.......

"Sitting at his computer more than five hundred kilometers from the man he taunted, it occured to him that he no longer felt safe. Was it the train line less than a block from his home. Mabey it was the fact a five hour drive is nothing to a man who drives two hours to work. Either way he would guarded of his opinion next time they would meet"

1) It wasn't the one I'm speaking of that has the opening 1/4 windows, that is Blackbug's.
2) Sooty, with 4 kids a kombi camper is of no use to me what so ever. I just mentioned this in passing.
3) And young Bronze, Yes I did own a hot pink shirt, & a pair of flairs & platform shoes, but that was the early 70's. I aint goin back there.
And , yes, I do know most of the Dubbo drivers so you aren't safe where you are..:D:D
