WTB: Superbeetle
I am interested in getting myself a beetle. I've come across a 72 Superbeetle, Unreg, full of rust, but mechanically OK. If anyone knows of a
rust-free chassis, I would be interested...
I dont have a lot of money to spend, I am looking at something under $3k....
I am in Newcastle, NSW

I've had my bug at the mechanics and his words were "use it for parts". so I am looking for another one, or if anyone knows how much it would cost
to cut major rust out of the door pillars and all the normal vw rusty bits....

be patient, u'll get one...
i've bought 2 beetles for $500.00 each...they were in pretty good condition considering...and another for my son (which is being wrecked)
Mine needed some work to be done, but i know one will be on the road for about $1500.00...this included purchase price, rego, transport and fixing it
for RWC....not bad...but i have to admit, the previous owner has doen alot of work to it...
second is going to be full resto...so it may be alot longer and alot mroe expensive.....but fun to do, none the less..
So i know u'll find something...supers are pretty common, and cheap...u just have to be patient & wait...
dubless.
And who the helled parked the Mitsubishi "Prancer" under my
house???

I have 2 options for you.
If you want a good solid one in newcastle, i can help you out.
Its a unfinished project, It use to belong to me but a guy i knew wanted one for a race car so i sold it to him.
Nothing has been done to it since and he has got him self a race car already finished, so he is looking at selling it on.
its just a roller with doors, bonnet, engine lid, all windows.
nice solid body and very solid in the A piller area and solid pan, but it needs a paint.
give us a call on 0402270727 or send me a email with your details and i will fix you up with all the details.
Oh and it doesn't come with the hotwires, could get some for it though
