ive finished oldskooling my car!!!


ok so here it is she`s still got a 1200 motor and box but she looks the part!! ive put a dds shifter in it lowered the hell out of the front end its still got more!.

the reason i decided to do this car is to prove you dont have to spend big money to do the car up im only 17 and this is my first beetle i had a 72 type 3 but i didnt like the shape! heres proof you dont have to spend big $

car-$1900
wheels-$1000
shifter and t-bars-$100

and there it is one cool looking car! now for the motor and box

I cant put my hand up to owning a set of those rims in any colour but by hell i do like the look of em...

Nice lookin ride. Coming together nicely. U just wanna lower the back down a tad and she'd be full cruiser style. :thumb

i have white brm`s!!! pick me

dan ive got 145 nankangs on the front with a stock beam no scrapige! and 165 80 yep nice n hi! on the rear.
i might lower the front a few more inches as the car has just come off the road i got a type 3 atm.
the plan is to fix a few dints little rust but i want it out!!

and then motor and box!! mmm 1835 twin webers cb heads all conected to a ranch box cant wait!!!!!

nice, don't have white brms but have chromed on the 58 and black for my single cab.. whites are nice. Definately Cal look. It looks like the centre caps are the bus centre caps.. they stick out a fair way.

yer the fronts are bus and the rear are beetle as the hub on the front sticks out tim i like the chrome brms but ive only seen another set of whites and they are on a red car in canada yuck!! oh and the back is staying how it is or it wouldnt be a true oldskool cal-looker with the back in the ground !!
