Westfalia Trailers

I have been looking on some of the U.S sites and have come accross these cool little wooden westy trailers, has any one seen one of these in Australia. They are pretty pricey little beasts, but it would be just the thing to pull all the camp gear behind the Kombi! I have attached a picture!

Yeah Gray, there are a few different one wheel trailers that were made ,these were for motor scooters and BMW s you can get them in Europe for about $400,
You can get a wooden Westy trailer from the States but they want U.S $2500.
too much for my budget!
Have a look here:

If you look on the German Ebay site now you will see one on there now (2.30 sun arvo here) search for :
WESTFALIA ANHÄNGER MIT FLACHPLANE
have a look and see how much it goes for!

There is at least one of those in Australia, a friend of mine has a 1965 Westfalia kombi and it was offered to him, but he didn't have the money at the time and couldn't justify the expense. Don't know what happened to it tho.

I know the one it was at Nambucca 2 years ago, it was offered to me too, same story. Gary from Melbourne bought it.
