Looking at my FI I'd say basically all of the induction system - carbs & manifolds plus alternator stand as well, then are the heads different
what with the injectors? Either way carbs will be probably more economical but not as smooth also easier to get replacement parts, I'm keeping mine
as is while it's working right.

Thanks all
The only reason I would want to remove the FI and all the associated Californian emission stuff is that when it goes wrong its as far as I can make
out very complicated to fix. What do you do with the "black box" of tricks sitting behind the back seats if it goes wrong? throw away? can you still
get them?
The car is actually in a garage in Spain - its not moved for the past 3 years.
I am considering importing it to WA - not sure what's involved and the hassles that go with it - will put up another post to get experiences from
others |

I wouldnt worry too much about it breaking down, because you can by complete systems off ebay for somewhere between 100-200USD. I now have two extra
systems under my house incase my FI fails.
