My little beetle!!!
Well i sold the kombi last niight so I am no longer Kara&herKombi... but tonight i will become Kara&herBeetle when i pick up my little bundle
of joy!!!
It's a 74' Super Bug that has been rebuilt by a VW mechanic! Paint isnt perfect but its still ok.. Have already got a big wish list building up like
: cd player, wood slat roof racks, venetians, white walls and eyelids and im sure il think of lots more.. but heres some pics of it (cant decide if
its a girl or a boy yet, will come to me im sure hehe)

I have to disagree with that ! My 68 beetle was a boy, unreliable, always late, unfaithful and drank a lot !
(I am not implying Kara that your new boy is any of the above!)

Very nice
I LOVE supers - to me they are the best beetle.
I will be a pedantic old fart and say it is not a 1974.
More likely a 1972.
1302 - 1972 flat screen
1303 - 1973-1975 curved screen
Whatever.... happy supering!

Hey, luvly bug! I agree, I think it's beautiful boy
Seems young at heart to me... does it drive young or old??
My car is an old girl... she drives like a grandma who gets grumpy and puts her foot down every now and again.
Enjoy!

Well, well .. found out some interesting things about my new little toy today!! Bizarre was right and it is actually a 71' ... The dude who did the
road worthy for the man i bought it off is going to be in big trouble... There was 3 things wrong on the road worthy certificate..
1. wrong year model
2. wrong chassis no.
3. wrong colour
seems very dodgey to me!! but anyhow he has been reported and will be fined!! suck shit i reakon, just hope the beetle was actually looked at!!
had some trouble this morning cause this little 'bung' (dont know if thats the proper word, the little circle piece) popped out of the carby, so she
wasnt going anywhere!!, just sucking in air.. but luckily found it on the road and had to glued it back in!! and away she went again..
ohh i keep saying 'she',, but still havent decided.. but yeah Gaia i think it definately young at heart!!

Good on yer Kara, glad to see you kept the faith and it is sad to see a kombi go, we've had a Range Rover and now a Mitsu Delica since our kombi as a
family vehicle but I still want to wave at the kombis when they go past. I miss being part of that club and I still reckon they're the most enjoyable
vehicle to drive.
