Pay the money for a Berg Linkage and you will NOT have any problems at all. most of the otehr flex all the time and cause linkages to get out of
sink.
PAy the extra it will last you 4 ever.

What do the Berg ones cost?
I'd consider making your own. You can buy rose joints from most bearing supply places (trade places) and then you just need some stainless steel rod,
threaded rod and fabricated fittings..... yeah ok not easy unless you have the right equipment and time
All depends what Berg (or other good quility) ones cost.

Berg is different from the pthers as it mounts to the fan shroud
The other methods mount between the carbs
I preferred the CB cast aluminium solid base over the Redline Weber pressed steel filter bases / hex bar support.
Both of the systems use a steel hex bar.
Whatever - never ever ever use the crap Empi / cheapo systems with the aluminium hex bar. The theaded ends strip, they are heat effected and they
bend.
The Berg system does not have a hex bar.
http://www.glenn-ring.com/engine.html
look here and you will see what i mean
As for the Hex bars just look at CB or AC net.
The Empi crap ones also have a short arm that will never ever ever give you the right opening range.
Futue te ipsum!!!

Yeah right, webers....:o
Like I want a toilet mechanisim controlling my fuel delivery, after all it's the same thing, float chambers....:puke
I am toying with ideas about multiple throttle bodies. But I don't want to screw with the factory ECU. Maybe I'll piggy back something instead.

Take the quad throttle setup from a SR20 DET (GTiR version) or 4AGZE 20 Valve and go from there - would be cheaper than buying weber pattern bodies
(not that you have suggested that).
I dont know how you would go about getting a MAP vacuum signal with quads though, would that mean you would have to run aftermarket computer on
throttle position sensor instead ?

thought about sr20 quads, but what dia are they, I was thinking a 2.5l would need something near 50mm to be much chop, what to you reckon?
Ratty63 been playing with the idea of a Map sensor on mutliple throttle bodies I think. Dunno what he came up with.
BTW, couldn't you just build and airbox and run a MAF on the inlet to the airbox before the Throttle bodies?

Multiple throttle bodies will make stuff all difference. In fact if you a going to use the stock MAF sensor they will make NO difference. All it will
do is get the airflow into the engine out of sync.
Stop stuffing around and put a supercharger on it.

Then wouldn't a single TB and properly designed plenum be a better solution?

Already got one of them, I'm just thinking about how to get more HP...OK, dreaming.
MikeM, love to have it Blown but I'm already on the limit for weight vs engine capacity. May be I should put of Wayne Penrose's Kombi "1700"s in
it. :P
