there is very little rust in it... the car would NOT be difficult to get registered.. It's worth plenty more than what I'm asking, but all these
cars all over the place are pissing me off... So I'm going mental and getting rid of them....
Go you bastards... Go Go Go....
I'm gunna take em to the crusher next week if I'm still in this mood...
I'll get good dollars coz I'll be taking bulk loads....
I hate to admit it, but man, I think you're right....

Did you drop the kombi price cause you caught a glimpse of the big f*ckoff spider living in the air vent Danny???
Seriously though folks I've seen the bus and she's a beauty for the price. Negligable rust and heaps of potential.

cost me 1000 cash to get my kombi to wa from bris, so should be around that - i recieved quotes from 1000-2500
kombi's are dearer than passenger cars because of the height. they have to lift the deck on the truck

Yeah.... it was the same to get bombi back here, thats why I sold it over there.......But it much cheaper to go back the other way. I had a quote for
about $500 though autotrans.

perhaps perth should start exporting sand to the eastern states. now there is something we have no shortage of.

Looking for a new project.....
I am interested in the 71 Bay.....
What areas are suffering from rust? is it the usual.... front floor pan, under the front bumper, battery tray, sills ??? wheres the cancer dude?
and.... whats the engine like?
Ball joints, tie rods, steering box???
Got to ask all the questions, cause if I buy it off you it will be without looking at it! I am going to find out how much I can get it over to
the east coast for, and as you said might help if you can tow it to a transport depot....
I just finished a project, http://www.aussieveedubbers.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=40023 looking for another one.
Let me know and if you could post or email me some more photos that would be ace.
Cheers
Dozza

Oh, and by the way.
I sent those men in white coats around. I was hoping they would totally freak you out and you would lower the price even more to make up for the
enourmous shipping costs that I might end up paying

Dozza I would love to see it finishing up looking like that nice blue one...
At this stage I have a list of 5 people that want it if the person before them doesn't buy it, so with those odds, I can't really be stuffed
answering all those questions...
Lets just say, If it was down the road from your house and 3 times the price, you would have bought it...
I hate to admit it, but man, I think you're right....

Oh, the missery of being a poor kid on the opposite side of the country. sob.
If only i didn't spend that $1300 on a new electric guitar. doh!
Even though i had $1300 in the 1st place, that was not from my parents, that was from my hard work over the Christmas holidays in the retail industry.
I have to save up for my own 1st car, my parents aren't willing to get me one.
oh well.

had a look at the bay with a mate yesterday,
was a little rougher than he was hoping, has a had bit of a rough repair to the front passenger corner, but having said that it is well and truly
savable, and not a bad example (probably better than mine when i started) very little rust really, inner sills all good rear arches not bad, and is
totally complete.
someone please buy it and save the old girl or the crazy man is gona send her to the crusher!!!!!

$450......????????

I need to update this regarding the kombi...
The car is not Concours d'Elegance...!!!
It will not drive you home and it will not win an award as it sits...
Anyone expecting to come and see a $5000 car for $450 is in another relm and needs to be jolted back to reality....
(I am quickly reaching the point where I will be glad to supply the Jolting)...
This ad should have ended with the phrase,
" NO DREAMERS"....
It's cheap becuase it's in the way...
If it is in the way much longer, I'll take it to the crusher...
Thank you...
(insert Jesus smiley Here)...

even though its $450, in the photo it looks really good condition for that price. But i spose u don't get to see much of it anyway in the photo, so
yeah. But from that angle/view, it looks pretty good for the $$$ ur asking.
Sorry I can't help u WAbug, maybe later at the end of this year or early 2006 when I'm looking for my 1st car.
