Wanted - Type III dual carb linkages
Hi Guys,
Looking for the linkages - rods, ends and t-piece - from a Type III dual carb set-up.

I'm actually using them with a single port twin carbie setup on a 1200cc Beetle. Vintage? I don't think it matters, as they're not for a TypeIII
application. Yeah pics would be cool.

If you are using them on a beetle you may have to modify the setup to clear fan housing. Have you checked this out?

Yes, I was speaking with Tim Donovan during the week. Tim was one of the original team mechanics that worked on the first VW factory Rally team in the
sixties. To achieve more horsepower, they used the same twin single port setup. On some of the Beetles there was no modifying necessary. On others a
small slot or massaged rib was needed in the back of the fan housing. If this modification was needed it did not affect cooling or other
clearances.
Mine seems to clear, but I won't know until I have all the linkages in place. Either way, Tim's advice has given me the confidence to continue with
this little piece of high(?) performance tuning for my 1200.
