Does anybody know if a left hand drive steering box is the same as a right hand drive steering box? '72 standard bug. thinking of bringing one in from the states.
Cheers

Trying to think. the basic steering box is I think. it's just been rearranged a bit. Not sure thoughI know it's not the mopst helpful answer on earth. Sorry.

You know, standard beetle steering boxes aren't all that expensive. Especially when you factor in shipping from the U.S. in the foreign order. Shop local.

If you had an S on the other hand, I would say 'good luck'. They are horribly expensive and hard to get. Nice boxes though.

If at first you don't succeed. Build, build again.
