Dyno Tuning

G'day Peoples,
Does anybody know/had experience with a good dyno tuner in Melbourne. I'm looking at getting a 2 liter with twin IDF webers tuned up and would like to go to a place that I knows just what there doing. Thanks for any help.
Cheers,
Dustin

A add on question,

how easy is it to get a car dyno tuned if the carby access is trhough the wheel arches?

I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!

Yeh tis a kombi, so access ain't a problem. I just do a lot of driving around victoria and want to get the best kind of economy (mainly) and power I can out of the bus. I've got the webbers tuned pretty well now, but it's got electronic ignition/high voltage coil and soon to have a new better flowing muffler and I'd just like it to be running at it's optimum. I also like the idea of minimising my emissions, which dyno's are able to test for a bit beter than the average mechanic without the technical gear. Anyways that's my speel, so has anyone had a good experience with any particular dyno in Melbourne? I've found one out Kilsyth way and he sounded pretty good....
Cheers,
Dustin

There's a dyno day coming up in Melb - at Aussie Vee Dub Performance Centre in Croydon. It'll be $35 for VWCV members and $45 for non-members. The day is still to be announced...

Dustin

Go along to the Dyno day and for $35 you will get a cheap sighter as to where it site.

If it is way out then you will know ball park what jets to get.

If it is close then have a think.

It is better than going in and handing over $150ish and not knowing if you are lean/rich/idles/mains or airs

Excellent, sounds a plan. Thanks for the help, I think it is running a little lean but it'll be good to get a print out. Will it be announced on the club website when the dyno day will be?
Cheers Again,
Dustin
