I just got back from a week in byron bay, and couldn't drive more than 200m without seeing another VW!! lots of kombi's and a few really nice type ones. On thing though didn't see any baja's down there.

@VW's in Byron

:sandrine
As a resident of Byron I am very pleased to say since moving here, it is the place to see the most VW's.
Only on runs do I ever see more.
Byron has heaps of very "colourful" Kombi"s & some very cool Bugs.
Lots of people here own more than one
VW.
Many just around my area always seem to own a Kombi & another VW of some sort.
And I can say all these people are real
enthusists with there vehicles.
Many wave & are courtious when passing on the road. It's a real pleasure sharing
my area with them. Or you get people
(as we all know) wanting to stop you & chat about them.
It's nice to see many people share one love

What type is ur vw? If it was one of the 2 nice white ones or the black types ones, they looked awesome, I really liked the cookie cutters on one of the white ones.

Hi BIX
Mine is the black beetle always roaming around here.
We'll have to catch up one day.
I come up to Brissy often.
Going to the Toowoomba meet on next Sunday.
What do you drive?

The family dropped in at Byron in Nov, cruising south in our Lavender Kombi.
Must have been an off day as we saw few VW's.
Loved the Bay though, had a nice swim.

Hey bug

I am pretty sure I saw u a few times. Got big bore tail pipes? White L bug, with a multi shaded red front end at the moment (had a accident a few months ago). Probably be down again in may, the VWDQ is having a weekend away to byron. I don't remeber much from last week, it was a the last week before uni started so 12 of us decided on a week away:beer:beer:beer:beer:D:D:D , I went thru 2.225 Lof rum plus drinks in the pubs so the memeory is shocking. Next time iam down I'll email u first. still tyring to find the good clubs down there. (love dancing on the tables at cheecky monkey:D:D:D) catch u later.

I also saw another nice bug with cookie cutters that looked pretty cool. Are there any VW speaclilists in Byron? with all the kombi's etc it could be well worth it?

Hi again BIX

:sandrine
Hi again Bix
Yes you saw me , I have the Black bug with the large tail pipes. You should of
shouted out & said Hi.
Always great to met another dubber.
Yes I also know that VWDCQ are coming
down to Byron soon....guess who's helping organise their days down here!
Yes we also have a few good VW specialists around the area.
Stokers Siding is very famous here & well known. And also G & N at Mullumbimby
he's very good as well. I'm calling them tommorrow for a service before I go up to Brissy on the weekend for the Toowoomba VW Meet.
Hope I can catch up with you there....
Looking forward to a great weekend.
