How much do you want to spend? You should be able to find one in almost any price range, just the cheaper it is the more work it will need!
What year, early or late body?
Good luck

Just wait a few weeks and browse the cars for sale section and the online Trading Post. You should be able to take your pick of a few that you will
find.

thanks dude. it would be cool to find one locally rather than trying to arrange delivery to Sydney because i'm sure that's not going to be cheap.

Oh yeah sorry I understand, but it shows that they are out there. If I was to get a Type 3 I would want a fastback in the pooooo brown/ tan colour.
I remember a family friend from Bendigo had one and he used to bring me apple pies when I was a little tacker whenever he visited. He would get it out
of the back and he would say "I just made it for ya" It would be nice and warm, so I would believe him, as I knew he lived a couple of hours away.
Little did I know then what I know now. He had the pie sitting in the back above where the engine would keep it warm

Mate if your interested i know where ther is a first year of production fasty sitting with apparently no rust and in very good condition. Doesn't
want heaps for it either. I have seen it from a distance but didn't stop to look. Not my thing. The catch. Well it's in Broken Hill. Let me know if
you're interested and i will send some details.

Told you about the absolutley rust and dent free fastback shell, doors, pan, front guards, glass and seats.
Far less than the cost of even minor repairs on anything you'll pick up for around a grand.
But you passed it up so now it is about 1 foot high in a nice little cube.

HotRod,
wasn't that the one with no motor, gearbox or front beam and brakes etc? If i remember correctly the guards etc were dented items you were looking to
get rid of anyway so you were going to throw them on the car? Basically, you were putting old dented items on it so how is that classed rust free and
dent free????
Maybe i'm wrong but the way you described it then is not how you describe it now!

Only the rear guards which I said could be thrown in.
Only the spindles gone the beam was still there as said.
It was a shame to crush such a great body and pan. But no one could be botherred picking it up...
