Rim Colour.
Hi All,
I have a set of type 3 steel rims and during one stage of their life they have been painted.
Is there a correct (silver?) colour to return them to there former glory?
Is power coating a better option?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Brad. |

I recon white looks awsome for stock kombi rims (dunno what type 3 rims are). Powder coating is what i plan to do. Or use 2 pac paint. |

yea, paint is probably more likely to chip. How much did it cost to get that set of rims powder coated? Did they prep it for you aswell?

I reckon powder coating would be best, much more durable.
If you want silver, they can do that with powder coating.
