I doubt he would be in the same category as Lummus as he was in full bodied door slammer. Looks like rods is going to be a flopper body funny car, so
he'd be in the same category as Ken Fisher of Fisher buggies and Brian Burrows who still has the record of 7.70.
Or is rod going to cut doors in later?

Rods car will have turbo combo in the front mate,back up with 2speed glide,full floating ladder bar rear end, a alloy diff housing.Driver seating on
the left of car. Body will have doors cut in latter so Rod can still mix it up with the imports.The body maybe tweak a bit from what you see there and
remade in kevlar as well. Chassis is about 1/4 done. This car is much more a conventional full chassis v8 type, drag car. Drag racers can talk the
talk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

London Dubber, there is no story or out dated goss,or confusion on what I have said above!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Rods car will be one tuff front engine
drag car.Rods original plan was to build a similar car as Ken Ficher but our drag racing rules does not cater for this concept.( ANDRA RULES)He would
be put into Modifed class ( rails, altereds) but wheel base was to short, for a rear engine rail and mid engine not catered for as a altered . The
major Import racing events in this country are based on sedan classes so the car would have become a exhibition vehicle. Not good for sponsors or

power door slammer in QLD has been into the 7s.... but not much VW tehre only looks but it amuses me with the commentators spruking off over
