MSD Ignition Units

How many of you are running an MSD Ignition unit in your dubs?
How do you rate them? Worth the money?

I had the jaycar version. Best thing since sliced bread. Be sure to modify the rotor.

In case anyone's thinking WTF, the stock rotors have a resistor built into them which can burn out if you put a lot of current through it. You can either replace the resistor with a piece of wire or buy one ready done from http://www.aircooled.net/

Yep thats right. The resistors cant handle the multi sparks.
Looking to put one on the T3 Karmenn. Reading a lot of posts on a Porsche forum it seems that it will help a lot with low end running and idle on a 911 motor. Stops the plugs from fouling.
Just interested to see if anyone here has had any experiences (good or bad ) with the MSD units.

Hi

I am was the MSD CDI unit, it was great....

It would start the car without choke..and she seem to
be more responsive...

I open up the gap on the spark plug a bit.
