replacing needle bearings in front beam

Is it a good idea to replace the needle bearings in my ball joint front beam with the bugpack urethane ones

I just repacked mine with grease. Apparently replacement bearings are a bit difficult to track down, but I'd suspect that needle bearings would be smoother and work better than urethane.
