Rack and Pinion Steering into type three

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has fitted rack and pinion to a type 111 or if anyone knows an internet site to help.

Cheers

CBB has added not only rack and pinion to kombis (maybe others) but also power steering.

Might be worth an email. They do kits which go all over Australia for most modifications.

I would just buy a new steering box.
VW got their geometry pretty good and unless you like a lot of work the Rack & Peanut will have alot of bump steer unless the tie rods are nearly paralell with the trailing arms through their travel.
