i remember seeing a new box for $750 somewhere, a while back, this is for a superbug, but whats a reco 1 or a bebuild kit worth? also ive discovered
the bearings i have that are meant to fit my super are different to the spare set of struts/spindles etc ive got, did they change the spindle sometime
for the supers or was i just sold the wrong bearing?
also pads seem easy enuf 2 change, what about shoes? simple or what?nn[ Edited on 5-8-05 by 1stcarbug ]

I think I paid something like $450 for a replacement box in my Super Cab.

i saw a NEW steering box on ebay a couple of months ago for $500
The rebuild kits for boxes are fairly cheap but you need to ba a machinist to do something with them.
$450 is what i believe V Force will do a rebuilt one for - but ring and ask.
yes there are 2 and 3 bolt struts. Would have thought the wheel bearing were the same though - that is what you mean??

nah its the same strut, dont worry bout it, ill prolly just get some more, and turns out the box i got from a wrecker ages back is a goody, well feels
like it is anyway, seems i do have a bit of good luck on the odd occasion
