57 should be last of the ovals! The first big windows were 58.
kombisaint, can you check for sure which kind of rear window it has? Also if you can get the chassis number that can be used to confirm the year:

Not true, is Oz the late 57's (I think August on from memory) were big rear windows, still with oval style door handles. I had one as a baja a few
years ago..... (not my conversion, but my restoration )
