I would like to Thank all that turned up for one of the best days I have had!
To all the little people that put in hard work, helping out and making it the day it was.
To the other clubs, who supported our show buy traveling up the range and being a part of Klubfest!
To the sponsers whom without them it would not be possible! :thumb
And last but not least, Alec.
Thanks mate!

I was there and had the best day. Big thank you to the organisers for a great day. Bring on the next one.
I all most had heart failure when I saw the twin cab ute being finger painted. However, I got over it when I found out that it was getting a new paint
job and resto.
The show is not a bad place if you want to sell your car. I had four offers and my beast wasn't even for sale.
Great pictures bananaman. Can see my kombi in the background of one of your pics.
Anyone else got any pics? |

Yep, Walter & I made it home alive - although it was touch and go there a few times...
For those of you who didn't get to see my humiliating entrance, Walter died about 400m from the top of the range, and ended up being towed in, in
a scene reminiscent of a Roman triumph. Lots of snickers from the crowd, and even a few comments like "well at least it's
traditional!".
Thanks so much to everyone who stopped and checked on me on the way, and especially the guys from VW Drivers Club of Qld! Trevor stopped and walked
down the range to help me out, when it was clear it wasn't just an overheating problem, organised for me to be towed, and then spent ages getting
totally filthy, to diagnose and fix poor Walter. He changed my fuel lines and fuel filters, checked the carbies, and got covered in petrol. THANKS
TREVOR!!!! :kiss
Sadly, Walter is still suffering a little, and probably needs a fuel pump.
But we had a fantastic day, and I even won a prize!!!

@ VW Klub Fest Toowoomba
:sandrine
Just a few lines to give a big (hug) to
Tazzie Little & everyone who organized parts of our journey on Sunday to Toowoomba.
I came from Byron Bay for it & stayed at
Tazzie & Robin's overnight.
Thanks (hugs) to both, for their hospitality and countless hours talking VW. Also for everyone that came, your
time, & being there Sunday & your smiling faces were enough to make it a great day and worthwhile coming.
Just goes to show when we all make an
attempt to make it, we can have a great sunshiney day
So to everyone who made the drive up,
even know I might not know you personally, (but I can recogize your car!!)
a big thanks (hugs).
Especially Tazzie (Lyle) & Robin for sticking with me when the "old girl" overheated. & had to be parked just outside of the event
(on the street).
& they followed me back to Ipswich &
again checked her out for me.
" Thanks" I couldn't survive without you guys...
Had the perfect weekend....
Great people, great cars & a great day!!!
Thanks for you effort everyone.
To all thinking about coming next year...don't miss a great day...
Judy

I went last year and enjoyed it, tried to make it this year but a broken axle in my Kalita put a stop to it. I was looking forward to it to, oh well,
there's always next year.

As this was my first VW show ever I was blown away with the quality rides out there- I have vowed to bring my Manx down for it next year.
So.......? Did any forum members buy the porche motor that was for sale???
It would look great in a tough Bay Window!
