When I was getting my Oval ready for painting-I welded up all the holes that I thought were not standard.I now can't find where the loom for the horn
wires goes thru the body-or where the 2 earth wires for the headlights in the spare tyre area go.Does any body have a pic of their Oval spare wheel
hole so I can get an idea of where to drill some holes.I am also after an Oval wiring diagram.I had one in my favorites, but thing crashed and lost it.

Gary, I've got some wiring diagrams for 54-57's which are off a couple of american sites. Dunno if they will be useful to you, I don't know if our
market cars had different wiring. Some diagrams are off thesamba and the others I cant remember where I got them. Either put up your email address
here or U2U it to me & I can send em to you if you like.
I just checked thru my pics of my 54 and they all look a bit crusty so I don't know if I can help u there, things like the holes for the headlight
conduits are too big & torn out etc. Let me know if u still wanna look. My car is still in the disassembly / paint stripping stage.
Cheers,
Greg

Thanks Greg-my car had a new loom fitted to it when I bought it-and there were some things that didn't add up.The wires for the dip switch had been
lengthened and so had the wires to the speedo-then the penny dropped-it was a loom for a left hand drive car.All the extra wires were done in the same
colour purple. Can't see why wires from an original loom could not have been used-any way, thats what I am doing.
