Poor things look quite confused to me. They've got late fenders but they just want to be returned to the sixties :dork:

the first one definatly seems confused. one late guard and one early.

are they solid? do u have most of the bits?

i say leave the whale tail on the second one but lose the wide guards and make a nice german looker........and bring the first one back to the orgional 60's look. then u can have the best of both worlds.....i dont mind the tail but the wide guards on that thing look mong :duh

the first car has a club vw sydney website on teh deck lid perhaps some of the members know of the car?

I like the 'two tone' paint! That'll be a unique rat-looker! but yeh, get rid of the fat guards... they look munty on the early bugs..

I used to have a 1960 beetle like that. shocking flares and late model head lights. Well I took it back to the sixties alright...I ripped off the body and made it a buggy!
