new seats for a kombi ???
Hi all, I'm looking at replacing the front seats in my kombi with some s/h seats from a late model jap car or something similar.
Can anyone suggest a model to pinch the seats from, something that fits well and is easy to install, and most of all is comfy?

the hilux is a good one but each to there own, i suggest going to one of the jap wreckers up there and looking at their range and picking a set that
fit your body this is what i did for my bug and i ended up with silva seats just remember that changing the seats will need an engineers and a blue
plate in qld.

Mine's got seats from an '80s Volvo, they are very comfy even on long road trips and they are fully adjustable. Only problem is my gf complains cos
her feet don't quite touch the floor!

Sooo, anyone one else done a seat swap in a bay? I thought this would be popular as generally vw seats suck compared to modern seats.

I asked this same question a couple of months ago and got the same response. Doesn't seem to be much going on in this area. I've been told recaros
are the best, or subie seats, but apparently anything with a low base can be modified to fit. I seached 6 wreckers on the northside on friday trying
to find something half decent at a reasonable price but had no luck. The closest was all jap wreckers on sangate road, but you had to buy a pair and
I only need the drivers seat. Still got a few wreckers to go on monday. Good luck
