I don't have one to photograph, but it's a black round knob about the size of a 5 cent piece with a white fan logo on it (from memory - but could be wrong as it's 10 years since I saw one)

Cheers

Fan knob is the same in L bugs also, oh and not trying to be picky but the knob turns a switch for a two speed electric fan to blow fresh air in, nothing to do with the heater! Not the same as a Kombi fan knob.

Fuse box cover is interchangable with late Beetle and Kombi's, but I don't think the markings match (as in fuse number), I would have to check to be sure though. Depends on how pedantic you are?

Rear seat handle? Can't say I have one in my wagon, so not sure?? Where abouts is the handle, what's it for??

Cheers andy for the heads up re the fan and not being a heater fan. I;m now not so annoyed that it doesn't work.

The handle I am after is attached to the back of the rear seat and is used to lift the rear seat back to the upright position after it was laid down to increase cargo area

Cheers
