our '74 standard
this is my wifes first car that she has ever owned. It has grown on me and no i am a full on bug fan also.
some people are like slinky's
they have no useful purpose
but they are fun to watch
when you push them down the stairs

very nice and rare standard 1974 Beetle
[size=4]Hi, Last Year I owned a 1972 standard beetle that looked just like yours but needed a lot of work done on it, and I sold it after about 5
months. It had a 1500 single port engine (originally 1300) drum brakes all round..and a Swing rear axle and compensator spring, mechanically it was
very well worn,and had a bit of body rust... I young fellow now has it and is driving it about. IMHO these are Rare in Australia... Some say they are
common, but I've only ever seen 2 or 3... and if there are 10 at a VW Show , it doesn't mean much as there may be only 10 in the state.....
