Kombi 1975 Windscreen Washer bottle location

Where does it go exactly? The panel beaters have put my replacement one BEHIND the drivers seat, apparently there was a bracket there.. is that correct?

With the original vw seats I'm going to put in, would that bottle be a problem? I think it would..

no - it goes in front of your legs behind the kick panel with the cap protruding out so you can fill it! There is a bracket there.

if it's a standard tank it should fit in the original position wthout problems. It only really fits one way.
When I got my fan it had a bag for the washer tank. With a nice hole through it from the big pointy screws that hold the tank bracket in.
I found a tank that was going to be thrown out. Lucky! Wasn't from the right model but it fit with a little persuasion.
