WTB 1600 engine - Brisbane to Sydney area preferred
Gday all,,,
Looking for a 1600 to replace mine (cracked case + needs work). Can be off beetle etc as have all tin ware.
Dont want to spend too much (who does) up to $500 for a good one or:
Can trade you for bits I have including: 1800 engine + gearbox, 2lt engine + box... + other bits off 75 bay kombi. The 1800 box is strong, has
new(ish) clutch, starter etc. 1800 engine is in peices, need to reco the heads. 2lt box is unkown but has bellhousing and 2lt engine is average (needs
a few parts but is complete).
Would prefer one between Brisbane + Sydney..
cheers

I've got one in Canberra... pulled from the car and ready to go. In perfect condition, recently rebuilt by previous owner (was a 1500, but was bored
out). I've got video footage of it running before being removed from the car. I only removed it as I'm fitting a Subaru engine.
