exhaust flanges

I've been quoted about $14 for a simple 3 bolt flange for a 1 3/8" pipe - is it just me or does that sound quite expensive?

I'm after a couple of flanges if anyone can help - the aforementioned above and one that will accomodate a 1 5/8" piping (they will be bolted to each other) I only need the flanges coz I can do the welding myself (well, through a friend)..

Cheers

sounds about right man, unless you want to get 100 made, then they'll get cheaper!
Most laser cutters etc have a min charge of about $50.

How much do smokes and beer cost these days?
Yeah, that's cheap.
Get out a hacksaw and a file and let us know if you think it is expensive after your done.
I know a guy that drove around in his Dodge all day looking for a hat, because $8
was too much. He didn't think about the $50 worth of fuel he used.
Oh yeah, he found a hat for $6 !nn[ Edited on 23-9-2005 by dangerous ]

3 Bolt Flanges

Hi Oval Tofu,

Volksbahn in Sydney had new flanges in stock some time ago, they were S&S style sent by mistake from the states.

Give Leanne a call and I am sure she will COD some for you.

Cheers
