Hi all,
I am about to move house and have just realised I have a Type 3 engine here that I no longer need - seeing as i sold my car.
Its a rebuilt stock 1600 that i scored after someone (who will remain nameless) picked it up freshly rebuilt from a mechanics and started it without
oil in it.
It seized. He cried. He used his old engine and this sat in his garage for ages until i took it.
It has lovely clean and repainted tinware on it, and the heads are fine as far as i know. dont know what the internal damage is... may be minimal, may
be major.
Has no dizzy or exhaust, has chrome rocker covers.
If no one wants it it'll go to the tip in 2 weeks time.
