magneto and gearbox
hey guys who would be a good person to get swingaxle gearbox built through (good for hanldling tough times).
does any one know of a good place to get a vertex magneto rebuilt by... im in melb. thanks

May i suggest calling around some of the auto elecky's about the magneto. They are basically a generator, so a place equipped to deal with
motor/alternator re-winds and bearing changes should be able to do a magneto as well.
Don't know about the gearbox... I can tell you for sure you don't want one built in Cairns.

check out the post on HYPO-VW's turbo oval . I have been building very tough swing-axle gearboxs for more than 10 years now and have never broken one
