OVER-DUE INTRODUCTION

G'Day All,
We have been chcking out this site for a while without actually being actively involved 'till recently by means of posting wanted adds on a few different occ's.
We don't have a VW at present but have been looking for our next one for a couple of months. Our last VW was a '66 Split-screen named Schultz, which was lowered, peco mags, purple & gold. Before that there were as follows in order from last back to our first;a '56 Split-screen bus[which i restored]
;a '66 Split-screen ute,burgandy & white
;a '65 Split-screen camper,white with all timber fit out
;a '74 bus powder blue,quite original
;a '67 baja,blue

;a '70 baja,white & red graphics
a '64 cal look bug,dark pink & chromeeverything
Yep I think that's about it, it's been two years since the last VW & is no the time to get back into the scene.
Anyway hope to meet up with like minded VWfolk & once we've aquired another VW hopr to put some facesc to the names we meet on this site along the way.
Anyone heading either south or north along the coast & needs help with any thing while in our neck of the woods or even need a rest from driving give us a buzz, the kettles always ready to go!
Cheers from Carl & Elizabeth
from the Far North Coast of NSW.
P.S once we work out how we'll post some photos of our rides from the past.

G'day and welcome

You certainly had a few nice ones in the past
The 64 cal look would have been my favourite
What are you after this time?

[size=4]Welcome to the Forum Carl & Elizabeth.. Well even though You don't have a VW at Present... You should know a lot more than a lot of Us put together.....I am only on My 7th VW and this will probably be My last.. I am putting too much of My heart & soul into this one... plus a million hours... Its a 68 semi auto Beetle and I have been buying New parts for it over a 6 year period... plus more now and I hope to have it finished , to drive to Nambucca - Valla Park, the Greatest VW Spectacular in Australia.....

Hi guys, welcome to the forum.

Hope you enjoy the bunch of dub heads and misfits we have post here daily and weekly. I'm a baja lad myself and probably fit into the misfit category as I've just becoem a teacher. Should have stayed in the military - heaps safer.

I'm on my second VW, both Baja's. I got so into my first one that I couldn't get it back together  so this one I registered first before I start pulling it apart.

Thanks for the cupps offer - might take you up on that when I head north for Nambucca and Agnes water for Christmas.
