No, only have the pics... I tried creating them in 3D Max etc but gave up half way through ... :D Couldn't be bothered :P

I think he did have a few of the creation files to download on his site at some point... someone will have them ... :)

Good luck!

This is by no means perfect but you could clean it up. I can email you the 3d Studio Max file if you want?

That's pretty nice Ruckus. How long did you spend on it?

Ah cool. I'm doing the whole 3d thing myself so I was just wondering. I might have to try a few VW ones when i have some spare time.

there are some 3D Max models out there, you'll need Flamingo or something to render. I've had an email conv. with that French guy on the virtual museum....he's pretty cool...sent me a file for a 72 Crew Cab (as you would) which opened fine....though I was using Rhino......give him a try.....

I've done some 3D modelling.. made a few cars.. tried a beetle and soon realised it was one of the hardest cars to create in 3D.. so many curves that have to be just right to make it look real!

Ruckus,
That model looks great, Exactly what i need!
Basically i want to do a 3d version of bus selecta.
Really just to try different colour combinations. I also plan to be able to apply definable graphics such as flame jobs. And to have reallistic lighting and shadows (and physics).

Once you have finished designing the bus, you can then drive it around a simple scene, perhaps a carpark at the beach or somethin.
