Danny, I had a real one and sold it to a guy un adelaide. Its now for sale in the UK:-
http://groups.msn.com/pukkavw/type3sforsale.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=165
I have heaps of pics on my work pc. The rear panels are rare as, and they would be a pretty hard thing to replicate. Paul Medcalfe at T3D has a couple
but expect to pay big $$$$.
Steve Carter told me Harris Tea had a stock of them. They were all Ruby Red with white roofs I believe.
Cheers
Steve

LOL , i don't mind. At this stage i'm not really worried about panels etc as i have my own ideas there and it's not as hard as you think. More want
the pics to just help with getting various ideas etc and seeing whats been done before.
ps ... i know anything from T3D is expensive over here. Gravel guards @ 250 pounds a set!! Don't get me wrong i know they are rare as but over $700!
Price of style though!! Paul is a real helpful guy i must add!

Its more than just window replacements.
Panels never had rear seats in them.
Only a full length loading bay,
So turning a squarey into a panel makes for bad rear seating.

Talk to Beerdoc, he has one in the works (kindo). Empi also knew someone who had some NOS panels somewhere, but rumour is he's out of the VW world
for good now!!!

if you look close at the pics in Ultra VW of the red t3d "panel" you can see the rear seat still in there.
here's a pic of Aaron's.

Here's the pic of Korschies. I don't think it's an original - not with the smooth panels. I'll ask him next time I see him.
It's funny Danny - he nearly came on the cruise Saturday.

It doesn't look genuine....
I thought they were only made in Australia in the 60's
this is a late type 3 variant....

Squiz 2guns its a fake and a late model , have no refrence to late model factory panel vans, have seen quit a few genuine ones there are quit alot ot
unique things.... eg wooden flooring in luggage compartment, clock blanking plate etc, etc.
Dannyboy .... dont get me started posting pics....
