If you already have the blue slip, you just need to get a green slip, then take it to the registry.
Tell the mob when you get the green slip that it is unregestered, then get back to them with the new plate numbers.
You must take the car to the regestry so they can look at your body & engine numbers.

Nah the blue slip guy looks at the numbers and puts them on the blue slip.
The rta wont look at the car unless there is an identification problem.
Otherwise correct.

you also have to get a REVS certificate to prove you dont owe any money on it? or it isnt stolen? to reregister an unregistered car in NSW you just
call revs give them all the numbers chassis and engine and last rego number and they send you the certificate I think about $15 last time we did it

when you're talking about green slips....
does that mean from my insurance company? (i.e justcars?) or does it have to be a green slip from NRMA?

Third party personal insurance.
It's compulsary before you can register a car.
I've been with QBE for years, but there's a few to choose from.
