Empi

If that car is in Australia then the colour is SEA BLUE. From the pic it looks like somewhere in Melbourne. My car is nearly finished hope to get Vintage registration next week.

Sea Blau is similar but when you look at the formulars there different.

Just wondering, this is not a pre '67 car is it? The windows look too big to be a pre '67. Is this a later model with the early guards & bumpers stuck on it?

ghia, it is a US spec car, in europe and the US etc, they got big windows (like our 68 on cars) in 65. there are alot of differences between australian produced cars and those in the rest of the world (well 64-67 models anyway)

Hard to tell from that pic if its a pre 67 or not! Cant see it the pop-outs have latches through the window or not! Also rags finished Prod. in 64 (i think). So A lot of work would have gone into this car to make it look pre67, if its not! Not saying that it isnt a later one, but it looks like its pre 67!

Cheers N!

2 Rag tops where in Australia to MAY 1966 everywhere else they finished earlier.
3 the door window front runners go straight up n down.
4 Its got dome hubcaps n 356 porsche wheels on it.

Come and bring it out to the Nats at Easter n i will bring my colour chip for you to match it to.
certainly looks like Sea Blue to me... which is greeny as well.
