Tailight problem

G'day Dubbers,
My bay kombi has recently been run into in the rear... poor kombi! I've just noticed that my tail lights on the right hand side are no longer working. The indicator, stop lights, reverse lights have all stopped. I've pulled them out and the wires still look in good nick and all fuses look fine. The left side still works fine, so does anybody have any idea's as to what it could be? If theres a VW saint out there who could give me a hand fixing it as I have no idea what could be wrong it would be greatly appreciated. At the moment I'm just a bit suss about driving the bus around as it is not really roadworthy and is a little dangerous having nothing working on the right hand side. I live in ringwood in Melbourne if anybody could help. Otherwise any tips as to how I should solve the problem would be great.
Cheers,
Dustin

the tin reflector unit has to be earthed ther shood be a brown wire to the body.
make sure both ends r secure.

sometimes the bulb contact nipples are dirty clen them with steel wool and make sure in correct there is a wrong way th 2 dickies on the matal insert of the bulb are diff height so match it up with the socket

if that is all good

check if ur bulb filaments are ok
they may look it but if you bang the side of the light with ur hand while all is on ...may come on and off = def filment has had it

Thanks for the advice! I gave all the terminals a clean and reconnected the earth after cleaning it. Got one new bulb because one looked ok but was actually stuffed (checked it on other side of car). Now all is working perfectly oncer again!
Thanks for your help.
