How to get the engine bay side mounted atenna out...


Does anyone know??coz i got that service manual saying theres some kinda nuts or bolts...but couldn't find it anywhere, n cant do anything to pull it out...can't see inside, and its like only going few cm up n down in the middle...looks crap n weird n wanna change it

aerial


the nut is on the top of the aerial bit , its like 22 or 24 mm something like that . undo that then take out the bit underneath and the rest should come apart fairly easily

oh, did u mean the one mounted on the roof?? coz like mine mounted on the engine bay side has like a black plastic bit mounted on the body, with it on the top got another round piece of black plastic, can be pulled out half way...but really tight...can't pull further. even i turn the atenna it doesn't wanna come out

On the very top of the plastic bit there should be a steel or aluminium bit that is in fact a nut , that needs to come undone . You will also need to pull out the guard lining to remove the antenna , and obviuosly the tyre as well
