Gwendoline.. November 2005
Hey
Here are some "In progress" pics
I've taken off the crappy aftermarket side strip (which took paint with it on the drivers door.. grr)
And i'm now in process of putting on the OE stuff, which looks SO much better!
Front fender will be fixed in a week or so, then the type 3 badges are going on the front guard!
And yes, i know she needs lowering :P
Just thought the lighting looked so nice today.. couldn't resist!

well i've had her since last august... and money severely limits what i can do to her.. otherwise she would have been dropped on a set of sprinstars
long ago.. lol.
But as said before, contemplating lowering, going to paint the rims black and put the right trim on it along with the type 3 badges!

Gwendoline Looks like a very well loved VW :thumb
I think Gwendoline looks sweet as she is. Have a spin in a lowered one, it's a real rough ride compared to stock.
Sure they may look better better, but if you do a lot of driving, comfort and handling is worth considering.

Yeah i know about the ride thing andy.. thats why i'm only contemplating it.. lol
I've been told that if you don't go too low it still rides fine... i only want to drop mine in the front a bit i think.. 1 spline in the back 2 in
the front, perhaps.
We'll see...
