the shocks dont hold a bug up like sprung shocks on other cars.

they are held up by the torsion leaves (pretty much leaf springs but a bit difrerent)

so putting these on wouldnt lower your car. u could howver jack it up.

correct me if im wrong

By adjustable it means you can make them harder or softer. Pretty sure they wont adjust the height.

You have to compress the shock all the way down and then turn it until it locks into the adjusting 'key', then you turn it whichever way you want to make it harder or softer.

XXX-1.8T is interested in the rears. I would rather sell as a complete set but if someone is interested in the fronts that would be great.

from memory you have to take out one of the bolts (or take the shock right off), then compress the shock till it bottems out (as short as it will go). once there turn the shock till you feel it grab the adjuster and adjust to suit.

from memory clockwise is stiffer and anticlockwise, softer (aka like tightening/loosening a nut etc), but don't quote me on that as it's been 5 years since i played with them.

thats pretty much it Joel.....^^^^

i have a set of instructions i can send to you if you like, let me know....run them at 3/4 hard....i.e work out how many turns the adjustment moves, and run at 3/4 of that number, towards the hard end of the scale.....
