The sand was not very soft as there'd been a some of rain over the past month (and for here, some means 26mm!) so none of the dunes I crossed were particularly challenging although on the one softer part that would have made the VW engine strain a bit, I just gave a little bit more power to the new engine and it pulled through with minimum extra effort.
The tacho is not working yet so I have to guess engine rpm.
My guess is that it was at 1750 rpm.

That leaves another 4750 to play with :thumb

I can't wait to give it a really good test.
