My 65.....couple ?'s
Ive been debating this for quite some time now. I have a sand car with a 2332 that I was considering dropping into my 65 bug and going to subi power
in the sand car. After seeing all that you guys are doing here im liking the idea of going the other direction..subi in the bug and vw in the sandcar.
Ive read almost all of the forums here trying to figure out what ill have in store for me and I cant wait to get going on it. Ive heard that the
engine compartment is smaller in the early years....will a 2.2 fit into my 65 without any cutting? Also I believe they make 2 types of 2.2's a quad
cam and another, if this is the case, which one is gonna be the better fit? Thank you in advance for your help...Mike

the SOHC motor is narrower than the DOHC. try putting a tape measure a cross one in a liberty. not sure about what you'd need to trim.
