'Eleanor' - my '58 Beetle

Well she's back on the road after a brief absence while I drove a ute for work.

I'd forgotten how much *fun* she is to drive!!!

Mods:
1600 twin port w/ extractors
IRS rear end
disc front, Type III rear drums
lowered a few inchs all round

Crankin sounds:
Alpine HU
four channel amp, some German brand I can't recall the name of
Hertz front 6.5 splits
12 inch Blaupunkt sub
JBL 6 x 9 s in the rear

She is currently coated in Glasurit 2 pack, but unfortunately the paint job is more than a few years old and she is starting to show her age...

Also unfortunate is the loss of semaphores due to the seatbelt plates being in the way. Bugger!

Rolling down the highway with the tunes cranked and a smile on my face..... she's my girl ;)

edit: man this 50 k limit is lame!

I'll get some when she's had a decent bath.

BTW, I want to install a side mirror, which involves removing the top pin of the door hinge - which is pretty bloody stuck in there!!!! Any ideas how to get the little bugger out?

Cheers,
Benno
