I do not wish to sound rude or anything but purhaps a name for the number might assist a few people. I know I do not like calling advertised no business things without at least knowing whom I am speaking to. Seem very impersonal.

Secondly I know that the as41 is an aluminium case but what other features does this have??? I guess with my lack of knowledge I have a number of other questions related to this, like with a stroker crank what will the size end up being, what stroke crank can you use, will this fit into a beetle body, are there any differences in the bellhousings from a beetle 1200 motor to anything else and thus would a different gearbox be requried? Things like that. I am looking into a 2.1-2.3L stroker for the beetle but I am still in the investigation stages so am not 100% sure of whether these will suit the appilcation or not?

Cheers

firefly

with a 82mm stroker crank you will get a 2180cc or there abouts maybe more with these pistons and barrels and the case.

The case would have to be clearenced to suit the 82mm crank, but the case will mount upto your 1200 gear box.
although that size engine will ensure a short life on the gearbox.

By the price , sounds like a good buy.

with 94mm pistons and an 82mm crank you would get 2275cc if i am not mistaken.

although many seem to think the 94mm piston and 84mm crank is the way to go..giving you 2332cc.
