want a vdo tacho to fit 1960 karmann doesnt have to be correct just to look similar to 60 beetle style

hey, I took a 90mph speedo into Instrument Services, here in Adelaide, and they said they could re-do it so that it'd be a 9000rpm tacho.
they also said they could fix it so that the high beam light could work as a shift light.




Most people seem normal, till you get to know them.

i might just do that i will use my old mph speedo for a tacho and the kph one for the speedo nice one 99

they are not cheap..... there are also very good reproductions available but it will cost you anything from US$550 for a repro and around US$800 for an original. I actually have two.... I am keeping one, but the other is for sale if anyone is interested..... not in any hurry to sell though.

That's a great idea! Can you u2u me the rough costs if you know em? I'm needing to recalibrate my speedo for my new Conti's, so i'm trying to get an idea of the cost of that as I haven't looked in the phone book yet..
