Noosa Hill-Climb
Did any forum members make it up to the Nossa Hill Climb on the weekend? Looking for a good web link and some pictures of the Porsche 962 that was
there or if anyone saw it, was livery was it racing in?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Brad

I was there on Saturday as it's at the end of my road and I had a good look at that in the pits, just trying to work out what's what in the back of
that thing was hard enough. I didn't see it run though. Watched the Karmann Ghia a couple of times, first time at the last hairpin which was OK but
then later saw him leave the start line and boy he was rapid even comparing him to a lot more powerful cars, the guy commentating even said he must
have changed the engine for the second run as he was so quick. I've still got the programme here with shots of that Porsche but can't see any
details of a website sorry.

Stuart Everett drives the Karmann. He won his class at Noosa by 5 secs.

Pic of Porsche
This is the Porsche you were looking for with Vern Shuppan.
The Karmen has a 1916 Pobjoy in it.. I was running in Herbie, though no where as quick as him.

There were some beautiful cars there but the one that I would have killed for was the TR3a. It was in showroom condition and the guy was racing it! I
know there were more expensive/faster/prestige cars there but the TR I would have had before everything else.
