Wanted - Perth bay for big trip
Am planning on doing a lap of honour round Oz in the early part of next year to celebrate our emigration from the UK
Was originally thinking it of doing it in a split - more for romance than practicalility, but after seeing a couple of splits last week we've come
round to the idea of doing it in a bay.
Soooooo - does anyone know of a really solid bay that is up to (or could easily be made ready for) a big trip, located in Perth? We want something
that is already fitted out with a camping interior and pop top. Obviously it has to be sound mechanically, and good bodywork (although doesn't have
to be a show pony)
(oh, and no shabby backpacker vans)
Am flexible on price - will pay for the right bus
Any suggestions?

Thanks - have been checking it online and have my folks out there who are checking the paper edition until we get out at the end of the year. Just
wondered if anyone knew of anything good that was up for sale...

We're arriving on 1st January and hoping to head off mid-January. Time to do servicing/repairs etc for the trip, but nothing too involved.
Have got VW savvy rellos in Perth who can check out anything that comes up before then.

Can't believe that nobody knows of any good WA buses - where are they all hiding??? :cry
Ah well - moving to Oz for good in ten days, so will start the search again in earnest then
