Let air out of the front tyres.

There aren't too many other options, as the Kombi seats are quite thin to start with; I haven't seen any similar but thinner-base seats around. You must be pretty tall if you're having head-room problems.

I found the SAAS seats we put in our bus to sit nice and low. The only disadvantage is that they no longer slide adjust. No prob for me and the wife, but if anyone else were to drive they would not be able to slide it forward.

yeah mine are mx5 seats from a late model, i got em fairly cheap from a jap wrecker for $180, and then $20 for the 8mm brackets n bolts, not the easyiest job really, was a little trickey but well worth it, by the way i am not using the original rails or brackets, i took em all off the bus.
cheers
