successful dyno day in vic

thanks to dean in particular and all others who helped out on the day.
i had a great time and it was good to meet some more people from here

my beetle performed pretty well after fixing an air leak.
40 hp at the wheels from 1500.

thanks also to mick and daniel from avwpc for their time and advice.

highlight was the 2007? white sleeper.
looked like the paint might have been applied with a brush, but the engine could be heard in the next suburb.

and the awesome 2180 black oval.
how about a gold plated engine?
WOW.
pity it ran out of juice at 80hp.
apparently its good for 110 ish

What an awesome day!! I'll be going to the next one, hopefully with the kombi next time. Heather's 1500 bug pulled a whopping 34Hp, and I was happy with that until I went for a ride in the 88Hp bug.... that thing pulled like a train!!! :o

Well done Dean, thanks Jen and Doug for the BBQ and thanks Mick and Daniel for the extra 4Hp I now have. :D:D:D

41 H.P in my white Baja and
50 H.P in my blue Baja (race car)

I think I will have to change the motors over before I sell my race car.

Thanks to everyone involved especially Dean for a great day.

Exellent...........

Just like to say thanks to all who got the day off the ground!

Got my kombi on the Dyno and we had a little fun........got to see the difference between a carbi motor and my motor!

The print out told me I was getting just over 67hp at the wheels and just under 500Nm of torque at 95klm.

Once again, thanks to all who got the day off the ground,

All the best,

Mick

It was a great day, thanks to you all for coming along.
And huge thanks to Mick and Daniel from AVWPC for thier efforts today, Jen for the sticky buns and Dougie for the Barbie.

Result for the Grey 57.
Mick and Dan managed to extract 4 extra donkeys from my 1600SP

1600SP generated a full 38 ground pounding horses.

Now we have the benchmarks lets do it again in 6 months, OK. :bounce

Hey, how would guys like to put some statistics together - show those Sinney boys up? I'm sure a lot of people here would love to see the results.

If you have trouble with web space, I could give you some on my site (just means you'd have my name in the link.)
