'77 Deluxe Microbus SOLD

G'day Everyone,
I am sadly selling my 1977 Microbus Deluxe. The bus is located in Melbourne and I will list the major details below. The bus is in great running condition with a great engine. The body has some dents and scratches in various places, while the inside is in very nice condtion. I hope it can go to a good home that will enjoy it as much as I have.
Cheers,
Dustin

Details:
-1977 Deluxe Microbus with all the deluxe trimmings and chrome
-Rego till end of June (7months)
-8 Seater with all seats and belts
-Carpeted on the inside, nice thick plush carpet
-Curtains, keep if you like or easily taken down
(Very good condition internally)
-original white and orange paint, has scratches and some dents and a little rust on rear right hand side.
-very new windscreen in great condition

Mechanical Details:
2ltr twin carb, with recent top end rebuild including carbs. Heads were reco'ed with new valves and valve guides. Recent compression test showed 140psi on 3 cylinders and 135 on 1. The dizzy has been completely rebuilt and is the original with a pertonix electronic ignition with 40,000 volt coil. Starts brilliantly and runs fantastically. Also has pod style filters on carbs, although I still have original if you want to change it. The engine also has a deep sump holding an extra 1.5 litres of oil, great for coooling and engine longjevity. Also has a brand new electric fuel pump. The engine is a very strong reliable engine!
-automatic transmission in great shape and shifts well
-recently rebuilt starter motor
-new top of the line Exide battery
-new shock absorbers
-new rear drums

The bus is in roadworthy condition and is suited to long trips or as a daily driver. Any further questions just ask away. Anybody interested give me a call on 0428385272.
Cheers,
Dustin

Oh man, I want... but can't have :( Almost exact same as mine I sold a few years ago and have regretted ever since! Mine was a manual and didn't have that badge on the back but exact same colour... does it have the opening quarter windows?

Yes it has opening quarter windows, the bomb in summer! Directs the wind right at you!

The dents are best shown in the top picture. They are on the rear of the car and the bottom left hand rear corner. Up the front there is also some small dents, which I'll post some photos of soon.
Still a fairly straight body and all original.

Cheers,
Dustin
